Why I started Bipolar Whispers

bp2
I am 33 years old.  I am a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a wife, a mother, and a friend and I have suffered from mental illness for a long time.

I created this blog for me.  I wanted to share my thoughts, my writings, my ramblings.  And yes they probably will ramble from time to time when my mind is jumping all over the place.  But the one thing I can assure you is that they will be brutally honest and raw with emotion.

But more importantly,

I created it for you.  For the person wondering if they are alone.  For the person wondering ‘How can I possibly get through this’.  For the person newly diagnosed.  For the person who has been diagnosed for a long time.  For the person not yet diagnosed. For the person with multiple diagnoses. For the person with a single diagnosis.  For the person who will never be diagnosed.  For the person taking medications to help.  For the person who doesn’t take any medications at all.  For the person at the end of their rope and hanging on for dear life.

For you my dear friends I give you……..Whispers of Hope.

Nothing is more beautiful than to share raw emotions. What would we be without them?

I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award, my lovely friend. I’m sure you’ve been nominated for this award a million and one times, but that doesn’t change the fact that I think you’re so very deserving of being nominated once again. No pressure. No worries, just know that you are in my thoughts. Here’s the link if you’d like to have a gander: http://www.suenoel.com/what-an-honor/ I hope you’re taking very good care of yourself. GIANT hugs and warm thoughts sent your way! ❤

I just nominated you for the Blogger Recognition Award, and want to let you know I enjoy reading your blog. I’m hoping you’re doing well, and am wondering if your daughter is back from camp yet. I know you’ve received many award nominations (you totally deserve it!). But no pressure to participate. Just wanted to thank you! Jenny
