Hope is something we hold on to, to believe that we can fight something that feels so much bigger and stronger then us, Hope is that knot we tie at the end of the rope that we are slipping off of, that light at the end of the long dark tunnel, the one thing that keeps us moving and motivated, that keeps us fighting, that keeps us holding on just a little longer. Hope is expectation that things will get better, Hope is courage to move forward.

Why did I create Bipolar Whispers?

I am a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a wife, a mother, and a friend and I have suffered from mental illness for a long time.

I created this blog for me.  I wanted to share my thoughts, my writings, my ramblings.  And yes they probably will ramble from time to time when my mind is jumping all over the place.  But the one thing I can assure you is that they will be brutally honest and raw with emotion.

But more importantly,

I created it for you.  For the person wondering if they are alone.  For the person wondering ‘How can I possibly get through this’.  For the person newly diagnosed.  For the person who has been diagnosed for a long time.  For the person not yet diagnosed. For the person with multiple diagnoses. For the person with a single diagnosis.  For the person who will never be diagnosed.  For the person taking medications to help.  For the person who doesn’t take any medications at all.  For the person at the end of their rope and hanging on for dear life.

For you my dear friends I give you……..Whispers of Hope.

*Keeping this one as my ‘About’ page, but still wanted to share it.*
